About me

After earning my undergraduate degree in History and Spanish, I spent my early twenties exploring the globe, travelling through over 55 countries.

As I reflect on this time in my young adulthood and how it led me to the work I do today, I see it was an early indication of my need to connect with other people, through their history, language, and culture. To explore what gives us all meaning on this journey of being human, together in this time and space.

Today, my path has led me towards a career that helps other people, connecting through a deep sense of empathy and shared experience.

It started when I took my first yoga teacher training course in Ubud, one of the healing epicentres of the world. From there, I delved more deeply into the philosophies and the anatomy I first discovered in my training. I studied intensely both on my own and with my mentor, who is an expert in the field of bodywork, functional movement and neurology.

A sense of health and well-being is essential to us all. That is why I love the work that I do: I empower other people, other women, not only to facilitate their own healing but also to guide them; creating programs and personalised treatment plans that can change their perception of themselves, mind, body and soul.

I came to bodywork as a sufferer of overwhelming stress and anxiety at difficult times in my life; I was amazed at the positive effect it had on my physiological symptoms. I could empower myself by getting in touch, physically, with my lymphatic and nervous systems.

After trying various mental and physical health treatments for stress and anxiety over the years, including talking therapies, bodywork offered a fresh perspective, expanding my understanding of the body and how it worked, giving me confidence in an exciting new way of effectively treating my anxiety from the inside out. To this day, bodywork continues to have a profound and lasting effect on my body's resilience to stress and anxiety.

I now live in Bali, tapping into the spirituality of this area of the world as well as its healing power. I work with people from all over the world, passing on the guidance and techniques needed to help them on their own health and wellbeing journey.

My own creation, the 6-week Stress and Anxiety Healing program, is the culmination of my knowledge, passion and experience. It is a course that encapsulates all the fundamental aspects of bodywork in the quest for freedom from the stressors of modern-day life on the body.

Our bodies are incredible, consciously and unconsciously they help us thrive, and survive. They hold our traumas, communicate with us and remind us that we are not a disparate collection of systems, but a single interconnected being.

I’d love to hear from you, get in touch via the contact page if you feel that bodywork is something you’d be interested in exploring and incorporating into your life.
